Support for qEVENT Mobile
qEVENT Mobile is a companion app for people working in a live qSAFE or qTALK zone — watching over a lone worker, or keeping a field team in sync.
What the app is
qEVENT Mobile shows the shared live map, chat, and push-to-talk for the zone your organisation has opened, so everyone in the field stays coordinated with their coordinator and each other.
How access works
You don't create an account yourself. Your organisation invites you with an org code, a QR code, or credentials — the app isn't usable without one of these. If you haven't received an invite, ask your organisation's coordinator.
Troubleshooting
A few things to try before contacting us:
- Can't connect to a zone?
- Double-check the org code with your coordinator — codes are case-sensitive and stop working once a zone stands down.
- QR code won't scan?
- Allow camera access for qEVENT Mobile in your phone's system settings, then try again.
- No voice on push-to-talk?
- Allow microphone access for qEVENT Mobile in your phone's system settings.
- No position showing on the map?
- Allow location access "While Using the App" in system settings. qEVENT Mobile never needs "Always" access.
